Octosimulator was developed as a project for the Technology-driven Experimental Game Design course at the University of Gothenburg. The aim was to develop a prototype, experimenting with physics simulation and implementing a physics-based game game mechanic.
In Octosimulator the player takes control of a four-limbed “octopus”. The player can move the tentacles individually, making the “octopus” crawl, climb and interact with various objects in the demo level.
