Murks Manifaktur is a game and interactive installation developed in collaboration with other students during my partical semester at FILMAKADEMIE Baden-Württemberg GmbH. The players can build their own stages to compete in platforming action.
This game combines virtual characters and collectables with real objects. Players can go up to the wall and rearrange the tools to build a platforming level to their liking. Afterwards the wall is scanned by an infrared camera and up to four players can start to play. Each player controlls one of the characters and tries to collect as many coins as they can within the time limit.
The project was displayed in the Game Zone during the Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film (ITFS) in 2016.

Contribution
I worked in close collaboration with the game Designer, Martin Kögel, to implement the gameplay in Unity using C#. I also worked with Lisa Ecker on processing the camera signals. Further, I worked with Dirk Handreke on incorporating Arduinos to provide real world feedback on actions in the game.
